I have the honour to ack. the receipt of your despatch No.8 of the 9th

of January, reporting the amount of the pension awarded to Dr.W.V.M.Koch in res- pect of his service in Trinidad.

2. Particulars of Dr.Koch's service

in Hong Kong have now been received

from the Governor of that Colony, and he

(6557 Fund)

Mr.Collins

has been awarded

•

in respect of such service,

a pension based on the period 3rd May.

1903 to 29th October.1917 inclusive. The

periods of service in Trinidad and Hong Kong

are therefore, practically continuous.

3. The Crown Agents for the Colonies

have been instructed to arrange for the issue of Dr.Koch's pension from Trinidad funds as from 30th October, 1917 inclusive.
